William Cecil was a man of power during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I. William Cecil was always escorting Queen Elizabeth I as her advisor. When Queen Elizabeth I became overly infatuated with Lord Robert Dudley, William Cecil became worried and saw Sir Robert Dudley as a threat to the prosperity of England if Queen Elizabeth I were to marry Lord Robert Dudley.
